Nature Connection; A Wild Woman's Path

I often ponder over how transformational it would be for society if more of us rediscovered the path of the Wild Woman, connecting with nature and the natural world. Establishing the ability to take a walk mindfully, fully engaging with your surroundings, conscious of the various plants and trees that are calling to you and willing you to commune with them. Might you feel compelled to stop and sit with them for a while, focusing on the insights and messages that arrive in the form of emotions and feelings. A spiritual connection that channels through the third eye.
In its simplest form, nature connection helps you to understand yourself and your place in the world that little bit better. Similar to when you interact with new people, sharing life experiences and ideas. In learning new things we inevitably ask more questions, unearthing more about ourselves in the process, which encourages continuous evolution of the self. Regularly communing with nature has the same effect. It is true that nature doesn't talk back to us verbally in the sense that a human would, but instead it communicates with us by stimulating our heightening senses. We begin to feel words and sentences, colours too as we awaken to the energy of all living things.
To connect with nature is a rewarding skill to posses, a self-help tool that not only takes our hand and guides us through life's journey, but a skill that takes us away from the thoughts in our heads. Feelings of anxiety, anguish and victimhood are replaced with gratitude, love and compassion. We begin to see a purposeful future as we slowly align with our true essence. There is less loneliness because we feel connected to something Higher, something that comforts and supports us, spurring us on in our endeavours.
All of this and so much more, is accessible when we come home to the ways of the Wild Woman and regular nature connection practice. And I want to share with you my first hand experience of connecting with the Wild through seasonal mindful narrations, poetic storytelling and personal insight. Find solace in my voice and let my tales and wisdom guide you towards discovery and acceptance of your own nature connectedness, your true self and potential.
